Learning often comes through play. This is a well-known approach to learning, and hence, the eXiLe instructors utilised the Lego Serious Play approach to run a professional development program for educators entitled Many Voices, One Song.
Participants explored key concepts of Identity, Relationships and Choices mapped in conjunction with the schools’ focus for Character and Citizenship Education (CCE).
This half-day program enabled participants to achieve the following objectives:
Finding ‘concrete’ ways to tell an individual’s story
Exploring what Identity means to each person
Understanding how Relationships are built
Identifying threats to social relationships
Determining Choices that can be made to strengthen social bonds
